The Art of Feteer
Feteer meshaltet is one of Egypt's oldest culinary traditions — layers of dough stretched impossibly thin, folded, and baked until golden and flaky. It predates modern pastry by centuries.
Mr. Adel learned the craft growing up in Egypt, watching family elders stretch dough with bare hands until it was translucent. He brought that tradition to Mississauga, and now he's the only one in the city making authentic feteer.
